Debate Team Fitcheck Video & Recap!

From February 14th to the 16th of 2025, Parker’s debate team flew to Oahu for a debate tournament at ‘Iolani School. On Friday, we got to spend our day off from school, flying to Oahu and starting the first segment of our tournament, where we had 2 rounds and a dinner break in between. After the exhausting day, we headed back to our hotel in Waikiki, and while some of us went to sleep, others decided to work on their cases so they were more prepared for the next day. After everyone met up in the lobby on Saturday, we headed straight for ‘Iolani school for our final 3 preliminary rounds. In the end, Kenji and Oscar both broke to the finals in the Novice LD debate Oscar in Champion LD, respectively. Congratulations to all debaters who participated in the ‘Iolani debate tournament. Thank you to our coach, as well as the chaperones, who all supervised us and judged rounds throughout the weekend. Enjoy the outfits our team repped at ‘Iolani!
